I awoke one morning to a world black and white
No remnant of color or tone
"So dark," I thought; all was not right
So I searched for the colors I'd known.
Having no luck, I though for a spell
How could I solve such a caper?
"Ah!" I exclaimed, "I'll do it myself!"
And went to my crayons and craft paper.
For the grass I chose a marvelous green
The flowers all burst into bloom
The oceans I made a softer marine
But I could not be rid of my gloom
For as each color appeared, another would fade
Leaving the world stark again
And I watched as my work was swiftly unmade
Back to the same old mundane
But one color stayed where all the rest fled,
and this single color I knew
would outlast the yellows, the pinks and reds;
And that single color was blue.

Sigh.

Well that's..........sad.

But I like the feeling of struggle and hoplessness you get from it. Not because I like feeling either of those things..I just like how very tangible you've made it.
Nice work. Dah buh dee dah buh dah...

Good
Well thought out, a very good flow makes for a great write. We must pour out misery onto paper in hopes to cure the blues.
