Why, I don't understand
This feeling is odd to me
I know it wasn't planned
It wasn't plain to see
What is it that draws you
I don't get it at all
I'm different, that's true
Don't even answer when you call
Yet here thinking about it
I get a smile on my face
Not understanding even a bit
"Noli me tangere"? This is the chase
Please tell me what you think

Cryptic in its brevity. The reader doesn't quite know what's going on --- but then neither does the protagonist. We are together left wondering. I suppose this is what the poem is about - not understanding, or misunderstanding.
