on that night of prom
i thought things would be great
little did i know i'd be learning my fate
When my prom date arrived,
I kissed mom good-bye
I would have been more careful
If i'd known that i'd die
Joyriding around,
we sipped and drove
before i could blink
i was mangled on the road
the scent of blood
and thoughts of death
surrounded my head
as i took my last breath
Seeing my crying family
is the last thing i remember
I wouldnt celebrate graduation
or my birthday in december
there'd be no wedding
no baby shower or career
all because i drank and drove
i lost these precious years
i looked down upon them
what have i done?
life is much more
than having a little fun
so remember, dear friends
next time you drink and drive
this could be your last moment
that you spend alive.

This is really deep and meaningful, you must have put a lot of thought into it, but your grammar is terrible, please fix your capital letters!

Wow!
This is an awesome poem! I would try to contact MADD (mothers against drunk driving). This is a powerful message that can save many lives. Love that you used the perspective of someone who lost their life.
Great job!
