Cora

Her polka dot dress
flies like the magic carpet
crosses her knees
s-e-x-y, s-e-d-u-a-c-i-o-u-s

Under her red lipstick
that cherry bowline
shivers in a guise
She is the moonlight sonata:
beautiful, but oh so deadly

Bite me
        - this is her invitation
Lustrous breasts
and silken smoothness of her skin
tempting the fierce touches

A stroke so soft
soon rough, soon uncontrollable
A kiss so warm
so frozen, filled with revenge and maliciousness

She is the Queen of Deception
femme fatale

Author notes

I wrote that as a stress relief, and after reading slavetthemusic's 'Queen of the Night'. This is a 5 min free write btw, inspired by Cora from James M.Cain's Postman Always Rings Twice.

    very sensual

Well I'm happy that you liked my poem so much, although you describe the malicious and deadly aspects of her character, like the "Queen of Night", I see her as a flawed and unconventional heroine. Although yours has a more modern spin.

Very nice. I like how you described the women and then her malicious characteristics almost like they were a part of her body as well. I was a little suprised it was so well written, when the first line I saw was "her polka dot dress" I guess I was expecting mushy love poem with horrible rhyme scheme. Keep up the good work!

    Fantastic

You really produced a fantastic picture of Cora. If people didn't know her you have done a great job of warning what she can be like

Have a picture of Jessica Lang on a kitchen table so have to stop writing now

I love this one! Contrary to many, I like the whole idea of "femme fatal". I'm not a man hater, so don't get me wrong, but sometimes those jerks really deserves to pay them back for all the wrongs that they did. And let's face it, the whole idea has much allure and character that it has lived to this day.
So, while some might find this poem dark and morbid, I find it rather exciting and magnatic. It's just how I feel.
