Story 1: Girl discovers boy cheating
Story 2: Boy runs away after drunken abusive dad beats him

Story 1: Valerie discovers Cliff is cheating on her with her best friend Julie.
- Were dating for 4 years
- Confessed he was cheating on her for 2 years on the relationship.

Story 2: Dave runs away from home after Rob (step dad) beats him.
- Aspiring rock star
- Mom died 4 years ago
- Hates his alcoholic dad
- Step brother to Sally

Story 3: A.) Jeremy: Lives with parents in a poor to middle class neighborhood.
- Neighbor to Sally
- Plays guitars
- Computer nerd
- Doesn’t have too many friends

Merger:

1. Valerie and Dave start talking:
-Valerie’s dad is a drunk too
-Her mom died 6 years ago
2. Jeremy and Sally talking on a couch:
-Talk about family life
-Talk about being neighbors
Sally vents about being in a bad relationship
3. Dave sees Cliff bugging Sally, beats him up:
-Cliff is drunk and starts causing trouble for Sally because he is mad at Dave for talking to Valerie
4. Valerie and Sally become friends:
-Turns out Sally and Valerie have a lot more in common than they would have ever imagined
5. Dave and Sally get reunited:
-Sally moved out a year ago
-Moved in with Boyfriend
-Got sick of dad being an alcoholic
-Talk about getting their own places
6. Dave asks Jeremy to play guitar and back up vocals in his band:
-Dave is looking for a back up guitarist
-And he is looking for some vocals
-Sally tells Dave that Jeremy can sing and play guitar
