The primary waste of all energy
Is due to the fact that we stay angry
If it occurs,that in our eyes we`re stiffed
Much more efficient to be merely miffed
Wearing down molars while we grind our teeth
Leaving only gums to enjoy our sweets
It all comes down to who we think we are
Clearly we all, are not bright shining stars
Pure, clean as snow, never made a mistake
But for the leaf,we missed,with the old rake
And one or two others not seen by Thee;
For we have a right to our privacy
This gives us pause to question perfection
As we await beatification.

Great message
I have added this poem to the list for members to read. I think it fits the feel of the book very well.

If we could put as much energy into self confidence as we do anger , there would be alot more happier people around. Many feel they are what they are not and others dont feel worth what they are. I really enjoyed this very much *angel

I like this one and the thoughts...we all do seem to be bright shining stars,,,wearing down our teeth while grinding...good imagery.

People just have to learn to take the good with the bad! None of us are perfect, no one has the right to judge, but I'm afraid we all do it anyway (sadly). Anger? Well, you are right, it is a waste of time, but I suppose part of the human condition ... instilled in us, in our DNA. Thought-provoking write, well-done! Be well, Elizabeth
