I look in the mirror
and what do I see.
A sad old woman
looking back at me .
Where did she go
that sweet girl of eighteen.
With a heart full of love
and a figure to be seen.
The years have taken there toll.
And now she is sad .
Heart broken and old .
Looking back is better
Than looking a head' .
The people she loved
Have been taken there dead.
People say that she must go on.
And she knows that it's true.
But there no future down here
Living with out you.
So when I look in the mirror what do I see.
A sad old woman it's me .

Oh this is a sad song, many can relate to this. all my best wishes in the contest. I have to say this though; beauty comes from the soul not the shell.

Utterly endearing. Your sentiments were beautiful and honest, and great job with the rhythm.
~Best Wishes!

Great Job!
This is very nice, but I want you to know that our lost ones are always by our sides. I know this for a fact. You can read my "I have a message for you" peice and see why I know this. You might be sad, but you are never alone. Great write.
