Choking

Choking, , ,
The words are caught in my throat.
Struggling so hard to be free,
But still something holds them back.

Choking on words I once found
So easy to say.
Choking on words that have now
Lost their meaning.

Across the line I can hear
Awkward silences breaking up
This conversation.
Silences that have become awkward
Because I'm choking on your words.

Memories quitely come out of hiding
As these four words claw at my throat.
Good and bad memories of you,
But somehow the bad
Out weighs the good.

Why is I choke on these words?

These words:
"I Love You, Too."
