In some seemingly unfortunate circumstance
The hanged man’s world is turned upside down.
He feels both hands bound behind him
Realizing he can not escape through physical means.
One foot is tied to the tree of life
Yet, the other is untethered, flexible, and free,
Allowing him to change his stance,
Thus surrendering his former stand.
Through this mental alchemy
The hanged man is able to transmute
Tragedy into transcendence.

Thoughtful intuitive ideas about this enigmatic Taro charactor. One feels for his plight, just hanging there. Is it just a coincidence that he finds himself in this situation at the same time that he must do some serious thinking! Ha ha! I don't know that.
Love to you

wonderful
another wonderful message of wisdom about surrendering ... I actually wonder what physical freedom the hanged man has, since although one of his legs is free, he can't really go anywhere ...
strangely, but maybe not so strangely, I feel very much like this hanged man at the moment. synchronicity for sure ...
every attempt to escape from challenging situations, thoughts or feelings proves unsuccessful ...
I realize that the lesson of detachment has not been integrated yet. another lesson to learn for this ole maa ...
