Why can I never
Reach that faraway star?
Why can I not touch
The diamond of happiness
That floats before my eyes?
I am choking
Within this black of despair
Yet I see the light
Of happiness dancing
In the air,
I live my life for
That hint of a
Smile,
I fight the pain
For that distant dream,
I hoped
And wished for a
While.
But in my life,
I know,
Tears will flow
And blood
Will fall
Forever.
