It seems so long ago
With shock and disbelief
I watched you walk away
Without a second glance at me
Has it been merely two,
These months that drag so slow?
I wonder, in my heart of hearts:
Did this side always show?
I guess I just wasn’t aware
Of all this enmity
Well, I can clearly see, now
No longer are there three
We chose our separate paths
That day, you and I
The days I long for now
Have long ago passed by
