A Tribute

A Priceless gift always in my grasp,
I was blinded to how wonderful you are.
A faithful genius, one of a kind,
I can't believe you chose me.

I am having a hard time believing

I deserve you, probably because I don't.

Your love towards me is beyond this world,

I can't believe you chose me.

You put up with every inconcievable,

irrational, delusional notion about you.

God gave you strength beyond human-

always in control, always steering my

outrageous misconceptions towards truth,

never losing patience, never ceasing

to be kind, never wavering, always

simply knowing.  I never thought you understood,

and yet you understood me, and us

more than anyone else possibly could

twenty years prove that.

I can't believe, you chose me

In a list

Please tell me what you think

    thats beautiful..
i cudnt help but smile as i read every line,
it felt as though it was a reflection of MY LIFE!!!
very wellwritten, thru the economical use of words but nowhere have the emotions been sacrificed..
    very VERY nicely put...
    great stuff!
    keep up the good work.

    Excellant/romantic

Very well written. I don't have any favorite or least favorite parts. Nor did I notice any awkwardness. I don't like using line numbers. This brought back warm and fuzzy memories.

    Beautiful!

Very appropriate for Thanksgiving Day, and so well written. An exquisite tribute to the angel in your life. Blessings to you both.

    Awww

I can't understand why you would think that you don't deserve to be loved and have love. I really liked this poem. It was happy and sad at the same time.
    Have a dreamy day

    Perfection.

the devotion and sincerity shown to you by your loved one shines through perfectly in this piece. all those slight imperfections and wayward ways, comforted or resolved with the touch and dexterity of love so pure. this is a great way of portreying what you feel, well done, great write. and thank you for gracing these pages with such work.
