Ted...

We are the knights of light and dark
The elemental spark
Lesson’s soldiers gone unborn
Sol the core of reason’s morn
Core of misdirected minds
Misspent in tragic alibis

Insipid sepia toned frames
Identified ideas in spite of names
'Till all the fields be laid and bare
Theatrical the graceful stare
Triple pleasure at what cost
Plentiful the blinds that light the frost

Full the spirit sown upon the field
Sprightly harvest rain revealed
Hardened newborn tender souls
New with purpose hopes and goals
Purportedly the heart of sin
Tedious the law where reading ends

Usual in faith if not belief
Inhales the righteous with relief
The fever rages in the storm
Veracity in shape and form
Citing legends word for sooth
Leveling both lies and truth

Really like the side bars on this page. Really great flow, rhythm and rhyme in these lines. Alliteration work well throughout these verses. Sounds good when read out loud too - gives it lots of passion.

    Smooth and enjoyable

There was no effort involved in reading that, only sheer enjoyment. The language fits together seamlessly, while the rhyming keeps the tempo in check. Quite simply, it is wonderful.
