Some Of God's Gemstones

God wants
brotherly love
and love for Him shown in
giving: civil rights to all and
the basic necessities of life -- food,
clothing, shelter, and medical
benefits -- and respect
for all the things
He does.

If we
love ourselves, then
we can love others and
God. Love and reverence for God
should lead to greater love for self and for
others. It is a cycle that
spins into a heart large
enough to hold
us all.

God wants
us to have a
healthy definition
of love. "Do unto others as
you would have them do unto you" is the
Golden Rule and is a good place
to start with when loving.
Thoughtfulness is
the key.

Christians
know Jesus Christ
is one who can forgive
your wrongs and give you salvation,
if you just believe. Christ's love is a good
example: He died so we can
have life. His love washes
free your wrongs and
troubles.

Love can
give you a view
on life that should make you
happier; trouble won't seem such
a pinch and sorrows will fly away to
joy. Others may love you back, but
if they don't, then God still
wishes you all
the best.

I like it! Good form, good thought flow. I liked the line "spins the heart large enough to hold us all." Good luck in my contest!

    Very spiritual!!

I loved the Christian theme you established. I adore the intricate way you created the stanzas. You infused descriptions of images very well. Great job!
