Inquiring Mind...

Constant curiosity my mind may never conceive

Shall I ever have YOUR peace for more than a day?

Wishing to have an ability I know cannot be attained

I know my thoughts, yet whose I don’t I care more about

The choice I wish to not make may be my only one

           And I despise that choice

Sitting here my tears running down my cheeks freely

My friend passes me a note explaining her feelings

Surprisingly they’re the same as mine

           My tears falling faster…

The choice I thought I might have to make

Is now the one I know I have to, upon ‘their’ chosen words

So speak now dear indecisive, for my choice hangs on your every word.

Author notes

I wrote this in my Spanish 3 class.... I don't really like writting poems that I don't rhyme with, but this is just how I felt, and what went on the paper. <3

    Good poem.

I use to always rhyme, but now if the poem does, it does, if it doesn't, it doesn't. Don't let it bother you. There just more freedom to express yourself, when you have the choice. Hope the decision came out ok.
