Garfield first day of work
I am a fat lazy cat
Only hoping to take a nap
There are billions of people
Screaming at me
I am a lazy guy,
What is there for them to see?
Up and up and a way I float
Everyone thinks
Waking up kitty is such
A joke
I am not laughing
I’m oh no ….
I’m loosing oxygen
Falling to the ground
Down, down and down I go
I burst and explode
This show’s not over
Till the fat cat purrs
Can someone take care of that string?
I am a fat lazy cat

Ok so I tried my first attempt. maybe I can get comments that will help improve this poem
I picked garfield because I am prengant and I feel like him lol I feel fat and lazy now
I was stuck for a while but hey maybe some one will like it I have done a lot better
this is a different style for me.

This is definately a cute poem. I can see where you would compare being pregnant and it hard to get around as well to garfield, that fat lazy cat. But how did you get him to stand still to be blown up and tied to a string? He really must have been having a lazy time. Well done, Dee

This is cute. I like it. Garfield is so cute. I was thinking about deleting my account on here and deleting all my poems and starting new/fresh. What do you think? I want your opinion. My reason for doing so is just because there is a new year coming up, I have been through so much and I'm still in the process of learning and growing. I want to forget about all the bad things and think about the good. What do you think girl? I love this poem though, good job!!

at this one. You have captured that Fat Cat's voice all too well here. I havea memory of trying to get out of town on Thanksgiving morning by taking a cab to Grand Central Station from the West side (stoopid!) and looking up one of the jammed Avenues to see Garfield bumping along.
