Her pallor skin glowed in the moonlight.
Ocean eyes sparkled with the stars.
Flaxen hair blew gracefully behind her.
Black lace sleeves covered faded scars.
Crystal tears drew designs down her cheeks
Dripping softly upon her breasts.
She felt so empty in the dead of the eve
Her heart shattering in her chest.
She felt betrayed by her deep longing
As a clenching sob caught in her throat.
Collapsing to her knees in the white sand
With her tears smearing the suicide note.
She had written how she was tired of hurting,
How in a tangled web she felt caught.
She said farewell to her loved ones
And assured them they were not at fault.
The tears were pouring much harder now
As she clenched her quivering fists.
With a razor blade she swiped across
Her pulsing, tender wrists.
Her crimson blood spilled on the sand
In a puddle as she moaned and cried
Darkness fell upon the moon
As in her sorrow she slowly died.
Her beauty now whithers in hollowed ground.
Her soul doomed to roam the night.
Her cries can be heard upon the wind
As her ghost sways in pale moon's light.
Author notes
I wrote this a sad entry. It is actually a prelude to a poem I wrote earlier, Death Becomes Her.

wow....
That was definitely saddening, if you were trying to make me sad, (I would appreciate it if in the author's notes section, you could write what you are chosing to do), but yes, I feel that this is one of those. But I really liked this, I could picture it crystal clear. I had no problems seeing what image you were giving me, very saddening indeed! Good job!!!
