Falling Leaves

.

Slowly the leaves fall... revealing the tree within.

Shed Your clothes... not the material that covers Your physical body, but the covering over Your perception. Let loose the ties that bind the mind. All the people, places and things that come to our lives...

...are as the leaves that grow in springtime...

They can nourish, or - sometimes attract dis-ease to the Tree within. Let us enjoy their beauty... let us soak in the sunshine they bring to our roots... let us give sap to nourish their physical manifestations...

...we do so without attachment.

Leaves come and go... their growth, life, and passing on to nourish the earth are part of our Practice... it is not for the tree to lament their passing, or become attached to. Do not cling to the troubles of our lessons. Learn and grow. BE strong, for leaves may come with trials and excuses...

...take well the lesson of each as nourishment along the Way.

We as part of the Whole want to see perfection manifested in their existence and would spend energy toward them - that their existence would be made Whole. We should not be attached to the outcome or results of our INTENT in the physical world.  There are many forces at play... not the least of which is Divine Will.

There are no diversions in Your GROWTH. You have been always in the Presence of ONE. Your heart may be troubled, but You KNOW the Truth of Your BEing... no person, place or thing can take that from You. True, the mind may try to come and block Your view... like the clouds block the sun... but have You lost the sun? It is THERE! no matter what the mind may see.

If there is rot, or massive amounts of dis-ease, a pruning may be in order.

We may believe that the leaves have blocked our view of the sun... but the truth is... they ARE the Sun. If we lose sight of that, we may shed them at a moment that is not of Divine will... that is called "ripping and tearing" when it is done at the wrong time. REAL leaves, who have fulfilled their purpose, fall easily with the winds of change.

It is no small wonder that the most massive trees have the smallest of leaves... to tiny in fact that they may be called a "needle." Grow, my Friend, strong and tall! Let the things of life nourish Your soul, but let them be little things that You can drop at a moments notice.

Let the leaves fall my Friend...

Let the winds of change carry them into the memory of the earth...

...that You may know the glory of reaching the Sky!

Such seeming simple insights, Presence. Yet you grace us with a desire to strive to do what they suggest. If the sky is the limit, then there is a limit. This helps us believe in the limitless!

I can't believe I missed this. It's wonderful. So strong and wise and good. The metaphore of the tree is one that has been used by saints again and again, and now you have married it to your own unique flavour in this message about attatchment.
Be attatched to the beauty that dwells within the heart. This is one thing that is solid and neverchanging.
Peace and joy Tara BRAVO BRAVO!!

Beautiful, Presence. You have elaborated on thoughts that passed my way a while ago, widening the metaphor with serenity and gentleness. I'll bookmark this for solace later.

Beautiful and wise, the tree/leaves metaphor is a wonderful teaching tool. You speak as a master, gently speaking to a student. I absolutely love this. It is so good to see your words again.
    Be GREAT-full my friend,
you have reached a level of awareness that many will not experience in this life. Your words are seeds, planting deep within the souls who read them.

This is truly a masterful prophetic piece of work. So beautiful that it evoked tears. Tears of joy for being in a forest. tears of saddness as I think of trees feld to "progress".

    Wonderful dear.

Nekked trees, Pres??? Sorry, my Friend...I couldn't resist...ya know, my macrame'd humor & all... Actually, this is a very impressive penning, Scribe...one laden with much Wisdom & forethought, as you are wont to do...You've painted a portrait of living successfully with Grace, rather than merely surviving uncomfortably with circumstance...well done, Pres...& how lovely it is to see a new posting from you, Sweetie...'s been too long...your words have been missed, my Friend...
