The furywulf prowled across the rolling fields
Forgotten in time by all but a few, as the morning dew
Creeps across silent planes clothed in mist
With no remorse for what has been, nor thought of what to come
A light breeze moved across the creature's fur
Allotting a sensation of relaxation and tranquility
Living in harmony with the rising sun
Always singing songs of inspiration and eloquence
Though a pack creature, this wolf also seeks to be alone
At peace with being in nature, where life's abundant aurora
Declares it's company all around, a muse made more eloquent
By the sense of serenity permeating every adventurous thought

I tend to identify with poets, just in general(the person this was written about is here on AP). I also have a thing about the past...the emotions of the past, the sense of being in the past, and so when I called up the memories of an old friend, the vast memories and idealisations and mythologies arose as well, and this was why I felt I had to write. I guess you could say I identify with this person, mostly through the last stanza- the presence of the muse made more apparant through individuality and silent contemplation.

Oh wow, thaz very lovely and yet a bit dark... I liek the theme of the wolf!!! Very nice words and nice flow... Grand work... and I assume you are relating the wolf to you in a way, is that correct?? It was very nice that you'd write this in memory of a friend.
