Slept Baby

A sleeping and peaceful fire-
wrapped all around himself,
gathering strength to fire up!
Light through life, innocently-
without a curse or a sin,
to garden truth afterwards!

It is all in mother's hand-
her nourishment, her teachings,
and purity of her breast milk!
Way her warmth melts lined palms-
whether they drains in hell or,
fly towards the skies of proud!

Future is water of agone ages-
teach him a control over fire,
to prevent explosions tomorrow!
So, food is just ready to eat-
just nutrients preserved, but,
germs inside are burnt away!

It is high time, direct seas-
cut into a million streams,
to prevent flood, but use it!
So, swim in it, to go through-
cross dark ends, to gates of,
satisfied, joyous silence!

What a soft and gentle piece. Beautiful imagery and metaphors. Love the use of the word 'fire' in the first line... They are like little embers. Warm, delicate... But grow to be a big and magnificent thing . Beautifully wrote. Well done!

    Awww...what a GORGEOUS photo...is the baby yours?

The love shines through in this beautifully written piece. I can see where you are going with your interesting imagery, and since English is not your first language, you have done an extraordinary job of putting across your meanings so well.

    Absolutely delightful. Very well done!

    Keep up the great work..

Bandits United - this is your day in the spotlight. What a cute poem this is - so clean, such a wonder children are, and it all depends on how they are brought up as to what will become of them. So important to raise them well.

Babies can be some of the most inspirational beings on earth. There is nothing that can match their innocent inquisitiveness...if that's even a word You've done a wonderful job of capturing the essence of infant in these lines. >pixxie<

    BANDITS UNITED!!!

Nothing can beat the innocence of an infant, his beauty and potential immortalized in poetry

A sleeping child is the epitome of innocense. We look at our sleeping children, even as they get older, and they're s sweet laying there in all of that innocense, we reflect on the hours he was awake, the mischief making, the rambunctous fun, the frustration and we wonder if it's the same child we're seeing there sleeping so peacefully.

This is a wonderful poem, and so right on. How a child is brought up is so important to their future. Everything starts at home

Great job with this magical piece

You capture the sleeping baby. A baby sleeps so peaceful. Very nice imagery in your words. One could feel the love coming out of your words. Joyous silence is a fine way to end your write.

A very unique and wonderful pice full of thoughtful andbeautiful imagery. I find this piece gives me a pleasant trip through my own children's infancies and makes me look at them to see what control I have relayed to them. Best of luck in this and all of your endeavors. Hetohke'e *
