I love to dance the ballroom way
To glide,to prance, to swing and sway
To pretty tunes the band does play
It makes my day, it makes my day

Of course it is with my sweet miss
Is anything better than this
Well, perhaps, her hug and her kiss
It is true bliss, it is true bliss

I do not want to leave the floor
To stop my dancing I deplore
So to the Maestro I implore
Please play one more, please play one more

There is no doubt, is not by chance
It is magic, this graceful dance
With charm does heart and soul entrance
Enhance romance, enhance romance

    Very nice piece of poetry; was dancing nicely in the first stanza and then 'tripped' over someones toes in the 2nd! It lost rhythm in the 2nd line (Is there anything better than this/ well, perhaps, her hug and kiss) Very well put together otherwise, made me want to be there.
