Mum,
You know I'll always love you,
for the life you gave to me
Remeber what you have to do,
to set my spirit free
Remember all the happy times,
when we were together
Read the world my mournful rhymes,
keep me alive forever
Remember the voice you passed to me,
to sing clear so and true
I'm sorry I never became a star,
I wanted to do it just for you
Remember me as a child,
when I was pure and innocent
I did things in my sad short life,
I want you to forget
Please remember me healthy and brave,
before the world took me away
Remember that I am listening,
every single time you pray
Remember this poem I've written for you,
to help you sleep at night
Remember there was nothing you could do,
once I gave up my fight
