Another Hit another slap

As he walks in the door, my heart starts to beat
Will this be another time, he knocks me of my feet.
I wonder how his feeling, was it a good day.
I look into his eyes, they are so filled with rage
Here we go again, his fists start to fly
You "stupid slut you dirty pig", Another black eye
I close my eyes in terror, and hope and pray
Wondering what i did wrong , what did I say?
This happens all the time, my life he controls
from the beating to the way I dress, his heart is so cold.
I need to get out before he takes my life
I can t live with this no more, the abuse and the fights
As another blow connects, I feel the pain in my head
Is this going to be the last time, will I finally be dead
I wake up in the morning , my face swollen in pain
Why didn't he just kill me, release from all the horror before i go insane........

    Well written but oh so horrible. You made me feel it as though I was there. I have been there, and the memories grow dim but crop up every now and than. You did a remarkable job with this subject Dear.

    very nice job. the only thing I have to critique would be the line containing "You stupid slut you dirty pig", you may want to actually put quotation marks around those remarks, since it would be something that he'd be saying. if this is a reflection on a relationship you're currently in, then I hope that you find a way to get out soon before something even worse happens to you. keep writing.

    This is really emotional, and i very much enjoyed it, there are a lot of spelling/grammar errors you might look at , but they wont decrease your chances of placing in the contest. I did like it though! Thanks for entering.
