I was sitting outside tonight,
just gazing at the sky.
Looking at all the beautiful stars
and thinking how they shine no matter what.
That made me think of us.
Think about the wonderful life we have together.
We've been through some hurt,
we've been through some pain,
but still we shine through.
They say the first couple of months
are the hardest ever in a relationship.
I'm so glad that through even the most drama,
we still made it.
For that, I'm thankful.
I know a lot of things
will come our way.
Temptations will arise
and pain will never disappear.
But I believe in us,
I believe in our love.

This is a very, very beautiful poem...like the words just read perfectly and honestly and sincerely and it's easy to see that you genuinely love the person this poem is about...also, I liked the comparison to the star thing a lot too!
