After the Storm

I call out to my God of Thunder,
To the Master of my light
Ignite the flames of desire
As the storm builds through the night

Hear the roar bellow
Rolling through the sky
Sparks fly from your fingertips
Caressing up my thigh

The moisture's flowing down
A tempest at your command
As swift, the God of storms
Dips in the promised land

The ground begins to shake
In tune with Stormy's thrust
To quench his raging fire
As the dam of passion busts

The after glow is rippling
As the weather now transforms
Afterall, my Weatherman says
The sun shines brightest after the storms.

You must have a good weatherman! I'll bet he appreciates the tribute, not to mention the beautiful poem in which it was written. I never get tired of reading your works for some odd reason! Thanks for the poem and all of the others you provide.

Lord Thor hammers us with lightning,
Neptune raises the sea to glory,
Eos raises the winds to keep in tune,
Zeus sits alongside his goddess of love,
Aphrodite throw her Love into the eye of the storm
The Greek Gods of Mythology are very pleased at
    The StormGoddess's poetry..
    Bless.
