The River

The river runs on without a care,

Ready to meet whatever is there.

Many trials lay throughout its course,

Still the river runs strong, with full force

Steady and calm, it goes on its way,

In continuous rhythm day after day.

Taking on trials one by one,

Never failing to get the task done.

Its never known what lies ahead, but its never cared.

No matter what it comes against it always seems prepared.

Be ready always, for you know not what lies around the turn,

This is the greatest lesson from the river you could learn.

What a great poem you have penned here!
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all
move through life like this river you have
mentioned. It's amazing how something so
simple and pure as water can do what we as
people find so impossible every day.

Well done with this piece and thank you
for sharing it with me! I wish you the
best of luck with it in my contest!

Who would have thought of something like that till you read the poem above? Great lessons wrapped there. Great job! I know it falls in the nature category but please add your option #. Thanks for entering!
