Too soon she left
for eternity,
there will be no more Molly ‘n Me.
I’m glad she had friends when she needed them-
me?
I drifted like a microcosm in her sea,
a happy microcosm, nevertheless,
with teasing, joy, passion, pain, even misunderstanding...
Surely, I thought, our friendship would grow;
perhaps it would have, I’ll never know.
She’ll be and Old Poet now- fitting; I’m glad
that someday, I can revisit this person I had.
Perhaps she simply left, ahead of us all.
and I think,
what would Molly want for me now...

Her last lines:
"Relaxation couldn’t be more pure than this right now
Enveloping me within its own fabric in earth’s secret crease
So beautiful to be a privy to this great wonder of the world
Lying within its own kind of life accepting mine with peace."

thanks, Catressa, yes, sis, we learn to slow down a bit when passing now...
-
Isn't it always how it works? That flicker of a person? In passing you'd see a name, but move right on..
Something like Molly for me. I didn't know her least that I can recall, but as I've said I grieve for her friends
-
I'm sorry to hear that your friend on here died, I did not know her but I have seen her name around AP. I will look at her poems.
Joanna White -
I feel for your loss. Love your site, the first I'v journey'd today. Kind of takes one's breath away!
-
Understand
I do not grieve into the light but follow truth erudite
playing there beside the wished without wondering what is fished
for in that place where waters run freely up toward the sun
Molly stands without pain knowing earth's loss is heaven's gain
So we who stand in silent awe awaiting to see who next is called
let tears fall for our loss but know not what was heaven's cost
to call an angel home. -
So sad! I am sorry to you for loosing such a wonderful person.
Always
Jamie

Molly was a sweet woman, Wbiro, and though we were estranged over the past months, she's someone I'll always remember and treasure having known here at AP. This is such a loving tribute with touches of both her and you written through and through.

thanks, sis, it does put new light on what we still have here... I think, what would Molly want me to do now...
-
Such a lovely tribute to a friend that you've had the privilege of sharing moments of your time with. You be chosen as one of the fortunate ones who will keep her memory.

I never knew her until this. She seemed like a wonderful person and I hate that I missed the chance to know her. This was very sadly beautifully done.

REST IN PEACE, MOLLY
My dear friend:
It is so sad to have someone as young as Molly leave so unexpectedly, so soon.....
However we have to realize that she is no longer in pain, there is no more of those things that made her feel so -yuck-
She is now in Heaven in our Father's arms, in peace.....
I pray for her family and I knnow that one day, there will be no more pain, no more tears, but, sheer memories of such an awesome person as Molly was.
Memories, all of them held close -very- to their hearts, and she will look down upon them and smile for there is peace and love in their hearts.....
I pray they feel a ray of our Lord's love, light and may inner spriritual peace touch them, give them comfort.
Love and blessings to all,
Your friend,
AngelicMistress
PS
Your tribute to your friendship with Molly was very heartfelt and beautifully wirtten..... Another greta job, dear friend.....

Thanks for the comment on "Molly 'n Me", NascentPawn, you gave me several things to think about- misplaced words, disjointed and weak voice, victorian, like a business letter... I'll have to find out what styles you're comparing it to and see if any would apply in a memorial... (which won't be hard- I'll just see what you've commented on positively...) So thanks for the critical feedback... I'm sure you represent many who have the same thoughts...
-
I'm so sorry for your loss. I have had that loss too. It stinks to loose a friend. The poem was good. Again I am so sorry for your loss.
-
Great
I know it's sorrowful to see someone you held dear go, but life starts calling. You have to hold onto the good you learned from them; it enriches you, i think. Peace will come. -
This is a really sweet poem about your friend. May she rest in peace. this is a good poem.
-
awwwwwww....it must be so hard to lose a dear friend
...this was a sweet write to her...peace healing and blessings...desi

BEAUTIFUL!
Lovely write. Molly has def left, ahead of us Thank you for sharing your words & for introducing me to Molly. -
sorowful tribute
dear Wibro, i am shocked to hear about sudden demise of my best friend Molly. Can you please tell me how the end has fallen on her. she is sonice and beautiful by mind also. Please reply. -
I am so sorry for the loss of your friend
I never had a chance to get to know Molly too well....it sounds as if that was my loss
. And you are so right. Internet relationships are very new to us , but I have learned that we quickly learn to care (just like in real life) This is just usually sight unseen...and of course we have to weed out the genuine from the fake , but that happens in real life as well. I have made a fair amount of friends on the net----have even met a few and I can honestly say that not a single one proved to be a disappointment. I made a friend from Michigan who comes to visit for a week every summer. She has been doing that for the last four years now. I have a standing invitation to visit her , but the time has never been right yet
I hope you will eventually find comfort and healing in the good memories that willl forever remain a part of Molly n' Me
You wrote this straight from your heart and I really am so sorry that you are hurting. May Molly have found eternal Peace,
much love,
xoxoxo

i thought it was extremely heartfelt. Nascentpawn is just leaving negative comments on several poems so ignore it. It was an awesome tribute to your friend and I applaud it. good job!
-
I think the word nevertheless is misplaced it dijoints the voice, the voice is weak and a bit victorian but this word apoiled it. Too much klike a business letter for my taste. Sorry
-
wbiro,
your language and meter are probably the best i've read in weeks. I liked how you made an analogy of her leaving/dying on AP. thanks for sharing and stiffen that upper lip.

I drifted like a microcosm in her sea.
A happy microcosm when with her, nevertheless-
with teasing, a bit of passion, even misunderstanding.

A very touching memorial to your friend and fellow poet. You said so much in so few words. I hope that when my time comes, whenever that is, someone will feel the same.
