Don't you just love open-ended stories?
You get to pick your own ending
It could be good, a heart-filled finale
Or the most tragic showdown
I myself try my hand at writing
But I always know how the story ends
It's the middle I can't figure out
I know the start and finish
But the journey eludes me
It's like I fall asleep and wake at the last scene
My mind works in mysterious ways
So how does this one end, huh?
Is it happy or sad?
Impossible to say
For the characters have not yet been chosen
And it is they who decide how the story ends

I'm obssessed with movies and scripts, so decided to write about my lack of writing talent. The end seems to apply to my life, about how I haven't yet met the people who will shape the rest of my life.

I found this to be rather intriguing. It seems to me like you are saying that you need people to interact with you, in order to decide how your life will turn out. Yes, I agree, to a point. Your destiny will be decided by how you react to your own inner self, not just external simplicities and complications. Man must have time alone sometimes, you know.
