Writing helps me ease the pain
It shows me who I really am
Portraying the darkness inside
Exposing the feelings never before seen
Because I seek refuge in my head
But sometimes I lack in essence
And use the paper to breathe me
Because others only bleed me
Causing me to retreat further
Losing, losing, losing
Save me!
SAVE ME!
Save me from my own sanity
Keep my head above water
Draw me near to this place called Peace
I cannot support my head
Allow me to rest it a while?
But who will answer these questions
When I do not know to whom they are aimed
My tired soul cast caution to the wind
My love, come save me now before I die trying

Great
I love the section that talks about resting in peace and that speaks profoundly to me. You have written an amazing piece. Good luck with all of your future poems!

Wow, I like the message, pretty powerful and true to my own heart. I write to express my feelings and I use it as an outlet.
My only criticism would be that it didn't really flow as well as it could have. The message is conveyed superbly though.
Good luck, Heather x
