There was a young kitten called Mew,
Who wanted a way to please you,
Went out in the night,
And to her delight,
Soon caught you a lovely fresh shrew.
Author notes
because cats are weird in the way they seem to think you want them to bring you dead mice/shrews/ a pidgeons or two. hope u like it

Very funny and so true. Cats are always proud, and rather perplexed when you fail to appreciate their dead mouse gifts. Woman can be like that to, though I've never brought one a decaying shrew. Best of luck in my contest, and thanks for entering.

This is so cute. Love the limerick and how true this is. Cats though have servants in their owners and get away with most of what they do. Loved this - it made me smile.
