After the long upward climb
The higest altitude of Japan I reached
Japan, the country who still weighs heavy in my heart
Whose endless slopes of forests descending into sea
Engematically I surveyed with an exansive glimpse
I saw small trees grown sideways with the wind
Followed by monochromatic moving shades of green
Whose waves were paralell with the slow-moving clouds
The wafting smell of fruit-lading boughs
Came and went, as with the wind, but the sensation remained
I pictured what the shogun must have felt,
Pure joy, endless love, or outbursting divinity
He must have trult then, seen upon that peak
The intermingled complexity of all being
Author notes
Sorta like my ode to Japan, I guess.

Heh, this is completely written out of imagination, so my description could be totally off. I really wanted to focus on the realization at the end, and everything else is just a means to that end. Thanks for your thoughtful comment, Vic!

Hello My dear friend
,
It has really been more than a long time since I have read your works. I mean, I almost thought that you left AP, you hardly used to come... !!
And I see you're back with a bang, a wonderful poem here, really your decription of Mount Fuji is simply awe-inspiring !!
. Have you ever been to there, or you just wrote this out of your imagination? Do reply. in either case the poem has a very pleasant and soft touch
take cares and have a nice time my dear friend.. just keep it up... your humble little friend..
