Let My Soul Dance
Deep within my spirit survives,
life's challenges, onward it thrives.
Let my soul dance, reach for the sun,
answers sought, when I come undone.
Mellow tunes fill my heart each day,
sooths my soul, chases blues away.
A dreamer I shall always be,
yet still accept reality.
My test in life I truly face,
sometimes I fail, I fall from grace.
As tempests brew, and sunsets fade,
March step in time to life's parade.
Complicated not ordinary,
who I am can be contrary.
Lift your spirits on moonbeams high,
as soul wanders midst midnight sky.
Like waves pounding upon the shore,
all things change, they can be no more.
With age comes wisdom, now I see,
as life's ripples spread gracefully.

wow.. delicite wording.. the last word you used in this poem describes itself perfectly. the wording jumps of the pages and swiftly moves together as if it were dancing. magnificent. good luck in the competition.
