Leading a dog's life
How wonderful it would be.
Not a care in the world,
Come and go as you please.
Some body to feed you
and scratch behind the ears.
A dog's life indeed,
Shall be for me.
A game of fetch we'll play
Maybe tug-o-war as well,
With a pat on the head,
and a biscuit to chew.
Time for a nap,
Beneath master's feet.
A dog's life indeed
That's the life for me.
