Pumpkin's Monologue

When I was taken from home to exile
The chided my muddy profile
Thrown me into the truck
Stopped at the thousandth mile
I was doomed to the dark
In the turbulent night Halloween

I was given eyes that only see everyone dies
I was given a mouth to smile
Even in the face of greatest evilness
Evil of ostracism
Evil of materialism
Fire of fear is burning the candle in my heart
I'm the silent observer
Of the whole orgy of human society
I'm only a pumpkin
A helpless pumpkin from heart to skin
I'm a painful pumpkin
