Falling for Me

peace

falls to earth

as

my spirit

rises to heaven

I find calm

and myself

within rays of hope

falling for me,

for me

silence becomes

a physical experience

I know God is here

this beauty

is no coincidence

faith strengthened

blessings realized

my heart lifts

a thankful prayer as

peace

         falls

                for

                     me

You keep your words minimal and still they seem to say so much. A delicate elegance that not many can accomplish. Best wishes to you and keep that pen handy dear poet.

    Beautiful

There is such a sense of the spiritual in nature. Attending the sermon of a magenta sky, marked by the
choir of a whippoorwill, and a mockingbird. A lovely and soulful write.

      Hey....you stop that!!!

It isn't nice for the commentator to make a more lovely and poetic statement than the poem itself!!!! Didn't you receive your "NICE COMMENTING PRACTICES" brochure from AP??? lolol
I am very humbled by your kind words...thank you so much.
Your lovely comment has made my evening and I am grateful.

    Delightful

God is in the architecture it has been said, and I agree. God is in the trees, rivers, buildings, people.
But nevermore so than in nature. "Faith strengthened

    my heart lifts

    a prayer as

    Peace

    falls

    for

    me"
This is my favorite part. You convey the beauty of nature subtly and then lean toward its Creator. Very nice work!

    hugs Wolfie

Yes, nature certainlay lets us know that there is a God who created all this and who still looks after it. It is just some humans who have used the environment for their own power and weath, and have made it an unhappy place to be at times. Sentiments well expressed in these lines.
