she hurts for them
all around her
she feels their pain
she drinks the coffeeand dust
to dull the pain
but it works little
now the pain is great
now she sees nothing but red
she wants to help but he said no
told her there was nothing to be done
but she knows better
still she respects his wishes
she knows not why this one is different from the others
it never hurt like this before
all she can think of is helping him
easing his pain
so she can ease her own
this is all she thinks about now
