Solitude

All ripples start off small

But grow bigger,

Spread further.

Bounce off the edge

And return.

But continue...

Eventually they die.

Just like those rumours

You enjoyed starting...

Spreading...

The lie grew and grew

Until I could take no more.

But how can you stop a ripple??

You touch it, desperately trying to destroy it.

But more ripples angrily

Spring from your fingers.

Does a ripple ever truly die?

Or does it go on forever...

Simply unnoticed...
