Impermanent dry erase marker
fleetingly exposes someone’s heart.
Seeing it, upon my return in early morning
how could I not think of you?
As we spent the night dancing
someone left this note for me.
Perhaps I will never know who
or why my door was chosen.
Or could it be meant to make me wonder
if these words could apply to me?
