Angels
What are they?
Some say that they are messengers.
Some say that we all have a guardian angel.
They say that there are all kinds of angels,
An angels for everything.
An angel for death, An angel for birth.
An angel to send you warnings.
As you can see I could go on and on.
To me angels are the sons and the daughters,
Of God for he is the one who made them.
All I know for sure is that I am glad,
That we have them to help us.

My thought? Angels are a creation of God. Angels serve God without fail. Evenso, God made them a little below man so that they would serve us also. Unlike us angels have no will of their own, only God's will. Your poem was beautifully written and I enjoyed reading it. Thank you for your comment on God's Error? Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. Please overlook the critics who try to correct your writings, if they would take the trouble to read your profile they would understand, as I do, that you have trouble with our language. I don't know what your native tongue is but I bet they would have trouble with it, as would I. jean -
Angels are around us,they guide us,they love us unconditionally,no matter what we do.
i agree with everything Cait had to say,her discription of them is very close to how they are.
you have to ask them for help,they can't interfere until you ask,so if you ever need help,call them,they will come.Mine does.

Thought provoking.
Angels are great, I always liked them whenever I saw pictures of angels. My thoughts on angels are....well there's a lot of thought about them let's say that. LOL I think they're everywhere, and they're everyone who dies. Like, as soon as you die you become an angel and you're sent back to earth to take care of your family and friends, as well as anyone else around. I also think that Heaven is a compilation of our favorite places on Earth and our favorite things. Anything you want, you can have. You can be whatever age you want, younger or older. Am I making sense? Probably not. But I also think like God is everywhere around in Heaven, and he's a cool guy(or girl who can be sure?) Thanks for asking what people think that's skippy in my opinion. Good job

well, these beings of light, angels as we call them, are our guides, for bringing us enlightenment, hope, protection, etc...
all sent by our creator, by whatever name you wish to call Him...
be it God, the Lord and Lady, Allah, Zeus, Thor, etc...
that list could go on and on... with all the transmutations of the innumerable names of our Creator...
it's believing in and understanding the messages our guides (guiding light, guardian angels) give us... that is the problem for most...

Angels...God...Heaven...Hell...It is all us...We are those angels and we are god...We created it just for illusion...WE like simbols...We like to lay back in the arms of someone...Just for amoment...

My thoughts? well in ancient hebrew scriptures every Angel has a name normally related to there individual natures. We all know Lucifer was the most beautiful of all Gods Angels and even he used to preen his hooves in the presence of God. There is seraphim and Raphael out of 100s they fascinate me more than anything because their is quite a sinister origin of Angels. I wrote a poem called the Bloody war of angels and it deviates from the romantic notions we associate with Angels. I liked your poem for it raises awareness of a very complex spiritual subject and when I get enough points to run a competition I will be doing it on angels.

Very interesting poem. Yes, angels really are, elusive mystical creatures. Everyone has their own idea about them. I agree with you though. A typo in the last line... "what is your thoughts" should be what ARE.... I'm sure you knew that, just a little typo. I dunno.... I think you could maybe work on the wording and the structure a bit. It just doesn't flow in my mind. Maybe cut out a few "they say"'s it just disrupts the flow of it all. But it's your poem and has special meaning to you, i'm sure. so don't touch it if ya don't want to.
