Music

 

They say that music will soothe the salvage beast.
But there are all kinds of music this day and time.
I have heard some that make my skin crawl.
Yet still I must say that when I and down and Blue
That music can give my heart and spirit such a lift.It is great to have music in our lives for it can do,
So much for us.

 

When I need to shed a tear or two I can listen,
To some sad love song.
It is great to have good music playing,
While you are making love.


Are when I need to dance they have music for that to.
To me music is a gift to all of us.
For they say that the angels sing.
All I know is that I love music.

    musically great

    Beautifully written Rose. I love music also and do not let a day pass that I don't listen to a blues tune when I'm sad, a swing tune when I'm glad,a Jazz tune when I want to getdown, a gospel tune when I pray, a hymn when I give thanks, a tango when I dance and, of course Sax by Kempfert when loving. I enjoy your writes.

    it's one of the things that keeps me going....pushing for the finish line, this one part was wierd

    Are when I need to dance they have music for that to.
    in this line i think are should be or, good line

    but the rest of this was pretty solid, and consistent to your style...very sweetly done, wonderful to appreciate the music,

    ah, beautiful peice. music has always been something thats important to me. lol, for some reason this reminds me of when i was younger and my parents wouldnt let me listen to the music i like because it was "evil". i grew up in a pretty strict religious home where pointless rules like that were common, and strangely enough, grew up to be an atheist. lol anyways, i love this poem. excellent work!

    Music can sometimes spark a troubled soul and flame the fuel to love...and light a dark filled night with dancing angels from above.

    Music is definately in my life...

    Music is a wonderful thing, even though it can be crazy sometimes, I think we take music for granted in that it does so much for us and we do not realize it...A very very good write.
