He was hanging...
His raven wings had been thrashed and disembodied from him, bleeding not, but, sorrow poured.
His eyes did not plead for life. He was dead any way. A Vampire. But he could yet, be destroyed...though for that he feared not.
He hung...
Roofed by the blackness of a cave, it was night in all awareness. Bats clunged to the ceiling, rats scurried the floor.
An Angel held his hand.
Warm, thin, strong. The beauty. Her face was yet further in tragedy. Her wings, white and glowing, were folded lightly behind her. She shone above him, not letting go...
The cave that blanketed the cliffs edge was still, so silent. It seemed that Heaven was warding...bidding. Release the Vampire.
She held on tighter, but not bringing him up...not letting him go...
He stared into her white face, tears lining the ridge of his eyes..."...I..."
Was he worthy of words?...to speak with her...
It had been so long ago, They had died together...but by different means.
It was only she who had been taken to Heaven, given the gold crown, blessed with power.
And it was he who had been bitten, killed by a Vampire.
Now...sorrow made no shield, love made no answer...the sun would make his destruction.
The sun would end him forever...it was creeping above the horizon, pushing clouds away...lighting the sky.
She could not help him.
He knew...He did not wish her to, no, He loved the way she was, though it was hard, he stared.
She had been so morbid and gray in life...he could be no happier for her now. Even as he hung.
He wanted to hold her, he wanted to. But he was now a Vampire...a blood thirsty vampire. She was the only woman he had ever loved, he had died for her...taken the bite...
She had died anyway, but by blade not blood...she died anyway...
His black cloak and sleeves fanned in the wind like fire. The Sun was getting higher, brighter...
"...love you..."
Her hand slowly touched his cold face, "...hope,...it still remains..." she bent low, bringing all of her angelic light she brought her lips to his...their last kiss...his last wish...now she must let him go...
His face had color, his eyes joy, his heart took a beat..."Thank you..." then it all left, he knew, so did she. There last moment after centuries of searching was ending...
She closed her eyes...
wept...
opened her hands...
let go...
He fell, satisfied...to be taken by the sun...
...she still loved him...
...it was everything that mattered...
...everything...

That's one of the best love stories I've ever read. It makes me feel like a big retard posting my dork-o stuff on this site.
GREAT work!

Oh, gaud! this isnt even a story! I think at some time when me and Katherine started reading Vampbooks we got this idead and thought it be cool, but this is just a filler too. Maybe one day I'll clean it up and change it. Thanks though.
