Planting the Seeds of Our Wildest Dreams

Missing image
I
Marvel
Now and then
‘Bout our essence.
That immortal spirit
That possesses our bodies.
Cultivating our sleeping minds.
Planting the seeds of our wildest dreams.
Stirring the premature fragrance
Of dormant flowers of thought.
Mirrored within an
Image of itself
Inside our
Own mind’s
Eye.

What a cool poem!!! I love that it could really be considered "concrete" because in a way it is shaped like an eye turned 90 degrees.
I also love the content. Especially:
    "Stirring the premature fragrance
    Of dormant flowers of thought."
Something about that really hit a nerve with me, I guess because I feel that there are some things I just won't understand until I have more experience in life.
Beautiful write. I am adding you to my favorites, as all three poems I've read are amazing.

I love the poem all of it! The flow is well the form is one of my favorite forms when it comes to formed poetry, "as I am not a big fan normally" But you done well on this write I adore the words weaved as so many times our dreams change what we think even if for a brief moment, I ahve always been interrested in dreams and why they are or even exsist, in the depths of our minds, I have read many books on dreams and even the interp. of them. But besides all that ramble I love the poem and welcome to the book with us

    Loved It ...

A great little piece of art with these poetical words,
and right down my little alley of comfort. I like dreaming and feel that I live more than one life because of them. It's impossible to recall the details upon waking and as fast as I try to remember they flash out of sight. I am fascinated by my dream life more so than with the real one ... although both seem to bring up a sense of awareness that is so hard to describe! Let the garden grow and appreciate each bloom! joy

WOW! this is a very deep and thought provoking piece. it is almost like mine called my interpretation."Cultivating our sleeping minds." this is like looking into the soul but through dreams. you presented this very well. i like this part the best:"Mirrored within an Image of itself". you are very talented. keep the ink flowing. God bless you.

A well written, well presented piece that is thought provoking.Especially liked the phrase "dormant flowers of thought" indeed all thoughts are dormant til we file or act upon them and those that flower from the very essence of ourselves literally spring forth.
