Christmas is my favorite time of the year
Tis the time when friends and family gather near
Music plays on the radio
of Christmas memories of long ago
Singing in a choir, standing under the Mistletoe
or playing in the new fallen snow
Christmas trees all decorated in their best
waiting for Santa to fill the rest
Children's eyes all aglow
wondering what Christmas day will behold
Mommy's and Daddy's rushing about trying to find that perfect toy
tired feet and minds, oh what a joy
Cocoa and marshmallows around a fire
feelings of hope, happiness and desire
Waiting for that special night
when God's only son was born to make everything right
Christmas fills our hearts and fills the air
Christmas is everywhere
