BLESSINGS FROM GOD
Counting my blessings from God above
I shall praise Him with glory on high
Showering me everyday with His love
His spoken words I shall never deny
Leading me on my way to righteousness
He cleansed my soul, to be sin free
Taught me the meaning of forgiveness
Gave confidence and compassion to me
Such warmth from His blessings I feel
Blessed all my children with health
To God alone I shall bow and knee,
For my friendships the truest of wealth
I can not fathom life now without God
With Him I shall lay in pastures green
So much comfort from thy staff and rod
My heart has felt you, my eyes have seen
My daily blessings I count one by one
Thank you for showing all that I may be
There is no greater joy under the sun
Then the love God has given to me

Such a lovely and well composed prayer. One nit however, because you've personalized this piece I think perhaps it might be better and less preachy if you change 'thank' to 'thanking' in third line from the bottom and end with 'me' instead of 'you.' Just a thought, take or leave. I respect you as author to have final say.
