What’s Wrong With This Picture???

          It is I,
              the Muse…
          I have returned
              after a lengthy absence…

          For now, I feel we,
              the American People
                    have been LIED to…
          And as a result,
              public opinion has been unjustly swayed…

          US presidents have been assassinated,
              been forced out of office,
                    been threatened with Impeachment,
                        because they didn’t “play ball”…

          This could be
              the most dangerous piece
                    I’ve ever written…
          But, I feel this must be told…
          Pass this on to others,
              others who will help in finding the truth…

          If the if the sitting President “plays ball”,
              then his presidency is a “success”
                    and he can do no wrong…

          However, several of our recent presidents
              have challenged the Military,
                    to divulge secrets, or get out of wars…
          And the sitting president is “railroaded”
              and his presidency is left in shambles…

          Cases in point…
          Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton…
          They left the presidency under
              at best questionable circumstances…
          George Bush Jr. and George Bush Sr.
              their presidencies have been shown as successful…

          Richard Nixon…
          As is well documented,
              he was termed a crook
                    and resigned his presidency…

          Bill Clinton…
          He was under the threat of impeachment
              having to do with Monica Lewensky…

          You may not agree, and it’s fine if you don’t,
              but something doesn’t quite add up here…

          Richard Nixon…
          Well, he worked tirelessly to find a solution
              to the war in Vietnam,
                    and through negotiations ended
                        the years long stalemate in that region…

          In fact, when he was elected
              for his second term in office,
                    it was by the single largest majority
                        since George Washington…
          It was even a joke going around at the time
              that to call someone stupid,
                    you just simply said,
                        “He/She voted for McGovern”
                        (Nixon’s opponent)…
          Those of you who lived during that era,
              as I did, should well remember…

          Bill Clinton…
          Well, on 8 occasions in public
              and who knows how many in private,
                    challenged the military
                        to tell the truth about UFO’s…
          He also served 2 terms in office
              and left office in near disgrace…

          Bush Jr. and Sr….
          Well, they BOTH took us to war
          And, of course, the Military controls
              or controlled what went on
                    or is going on right now...

          Bush Sr. …
          Well, for reasons we don’t know
              we got out of that war quickly
                    seemingly not even achieving our objectives…

          For then…
          Bush Jr. went back to war in the very same region…

          Bush Jr. …
          We all know what’s going on in Iraq…
          Another stalemate…
          Just like what we saw in Vietnam…

          To this I say…
          Something is wrong with this picture…
          It seems that the Presidents
              who “went along with” the military,
                    had successful terms in office…
          But, those who challenged the military
              or stopped what the military was doing,
                    were railroaded and left office in disgrace…

          And, who knows what else…

          We don’t know
              why Ford, LBJ, were termed
                    as history seems to show them…

          Conspiracy theories abound
              concerning JFK’s assassination…
          Perhaps he even wanted to try
              and stop Vietnam in its early days,
                    and, well, we know the history there…
          LBJ was never elected president,
              and refused to seek or accept
                    his party’s nomination for a second term…

          To which I say this…
          Who really runs this country?
          Those who we’ve been told all our lives,
              The President, Congress,
                    Federal, State, and local Justice systems?

          Or…
          The US Military?

          Are we really a Democracy,
              or a military state?
          And don’t even know it…

          One more question…
          Who originally set up the very internet
              we all use?
          Well, the US Military, that’s who…
          As a system of communication…
          We’ve just begun using it
              for our own purposes…

          It’s also possible the Military
              still has complete access to any website
                    it so chooses…
          And they have the funds,
              and manpower
                    to do anything they wish…
          For instance,
              keep secrets,
                    make war,
                        and control US
          The Citizens of the United States…

          If I disappear,
              then you know…
          I may well
              have been silenced…
         
          It is I
              the muse…

          I shall return…
          If I can…
