In Your Eyes: for Night Hope

How can this be: this timelessness,

floating through marble halls

without a watch.

I've never known this before.

The way all things infinite invade my senses.

I long for more, but where do I stand?

Where do I look?

The child within awakens

ever so gently, quietly, with calm.

I was removed from things Spiritual.

I never noticed blades of grass.

I never knew to believe.

Now something inside me is burning.

I stand on the reality of solid rock.

Those things you do to me.

The things you say.

Above all, the words you write.

I see new horizons

when I look in your eyes.

    Absolutely beautiful

Wow!! This is one of the most heartfelt poems I have read in awhile…what beautiful words of love… is there a better way to open your heart? Don’t think so ….

“Those things you do to me.
    The things you say.
Above all, the words you write.

    I see new horizons
when I look in your eyes.”

Absolutely beautiful …..My best wishes to you both!!

Nothing more beautiful than to see, read, watch and feel two poets in love! A lovely poem you've written here about finding love again, finding the beauty in little things again - and yes, most of all, finding the innocence of the child within again - wonderful! Aaah, I can see the lady is delighted...Sighs... I too can't wait for the moment when you move from words to eyes!! Lovely - my best wishes to you both!!
