Walking into what you know might be your last day,
Knowing the only thing keeping you sane is that you pray,
Your heart is beating at an unbelievable rate,
The next few minutes will determine your fate,
You hear the screaming, alerting you to check your gear,
As I watch all of the young faces, covered with fear,
Whistles blow, and we stand in suspense,
As everything flashes by from my past tense,
The barrier between heaven and hell falls,
At that very instant no man stands tall,
No man knows where his fate might resolve,
Or what tomorrow might involve,
But we do know that, no matter what, we cant give way,
If we want to live another day...
