Stitch me Up

You stitch away
at the corners of my mouth,
and try to make me
P-E-R-F-E-C-T-!

If my voice is out of tune,
you tear out my voice box,
and find
A-B-E-T-T-E-R-O-N-E-!

If my hands arent the right length,
you get out your scrissors,
and cut away
S-N-I-P-S-N-I-P-S-N-I-P-!

If my eyes are too droppie,
you bring out the thread and needle,
pulling at my skin
T-R-Y-I-N-G-T-O-M-A-K-E-M-E-!

If my clothes do not match,
you tear them off,
and start again
B-E-C-A-S-E-N-O-T-H-I-N-G-S-G-O-O-D-E-N-O-U-G-H-!

If my heart becomes cold,
you get it out,
and heat it up
S-O-I-W-O-N-T-B-E-B-I-T-T-E-R-!

If my hair
isnt the right length,
you shave it off and it starts to
G-R-O-W-A-G-A-I-N-!

If I dont laugh at certain things,
you take out my brain
and make me think again
B-E-C-A-U-S-E-I-N-E-E-D-T-O-B-E-P-E-R-F-E-C-T-!

If my point of veiw
is different from yours
you repeat till
I-T-H-I-N-K-F-O-R-Y-O-U-!

I now hide behind your mask,
and I try not to think of
who I was because now
I-'-M-Y-O-U-!

Here I start
P-E-R-F-E-C-T
in need of
A-B-E-T-T-E-R-O-N-E-!

I take out the scissors
S-N-I-P-S-N-I-P-S-N-I-P-!
And I start
T-R-Y-I-N-G-T-O-M-A-K-E-M-E-!

I cry alone at night
B-E-C-A-S-E-N-O-T-H-I-N-G-S-G-O-O-D-E-N-O-U-G-H-!
and my heart trys to be warm
S-O-I-W-O-N-T-B-E-B-I-T-T-E-R-!

I see my hair its started to
G-R-O-W-A-G-A-I-N-!
I try to smile
B-E-C-A-U-S-E-I-N-E-E-D-T-O-B-E-P-E-R-F-E-C-T-!

I try not to act like you
I-T-H-I-N-K-F-O-R-Y-O-U-!
I try to be me because
I-'-M-Y-O-U-!

    I like this. its very good. and has a very good point. i would highlight my favorite parts and tell you which those were but it would take away of it all fitting together so well. so...just wanted you to know thats why i didnt. it was all fabulous. thanks for entering my contest. goodluck.
