Morning speaks like a waking dream
A voice on the cotton wind
Star-spun gold breaks a fiery line
Across the palm tree gardens.
Great wings of white and gray
roll about the blue
A peep of light and early cold
As Fall bids me adieu.
Author notes
I woke up this morning in Savannah, GA to find it was very cold outside. But the sky was so incredible that it didn't matter to me.

I would be honored if you put my poem on your poetry blog.
You can just use my AP name, that would be fine. Thank you for reading, and thank you for the comment.

This poem is so fine, I would like to feature it on the poetry blog that my newspaper runs. It is called "Poetry Planet" and you can find it at: blogcentral.thereporter.com/planet
May I please put your beautiful poem on the Planet? We get hundreds of hits a day and many people will admire your thoughts. I can use either your real name or your AP name. I would post it today, if you allow me to do so.
