The Beauty In A Rose
The rose even in all of its beauty.
It still has thorns upon it.
Yet to really look at a rose.
You would see that it has many aspects to it.
In its petals it shows off all the beauty of it.
In it smell it gives us pleasure to our nose.
The touch of its petals is like the touch of velvet.
The sight of it is so pleasing to our eyes.
But with its thorns it can bring about pain.
To all those that get stuck by them.
So be careful handing a rose.
Are you to might get the point of a thorn.
Such is the way of life.
If we would just stop and take,
The time to look around.
At this world we could see the beauty that is in it.
In stead we focus on all the bad things.
That we can see and hear in this world of today.
The only thing to this is that we really,
Don’t have to go looking for it at all.
So I hope the next time you look at a rose
You will truly look at it,
To see and behold its true beauty.
